As an Accountant you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our organization. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of financial analysis, oversight of accounting processes, and strategic collaboration with company leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing Financial Transactions and Reconciliations:
Manage and perform financial transactions and reconciliations using Xero and MYOB.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Financial Statement Compilation and Reporting:
Compile and supervise the creation of financial statements, including budgets, payroll, and bookkeeping.
Prepare regular financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Financial Data Analysis:
Review and analyze company financial data with a focus on achieving specific company objectives.
Work closely with the CEO to provide insights into financial performance and trends.
Risk Assessment and Growth Opportunities:
Assess financial risks and identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for financial optimization.
Presentations and Recommendations:
Prepare and deliver presentations to the CEO regarding the organization's financial direction.
Provide well-informed recommendations to guide strategic decision-making.
Compliance and External Partnerships:
Ensure organizational compliance with relevant financial and accounting laws and regulations.
Prepare BAS and IAS statements in collaboration with external accounting firms.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting graduate with CPA
Proven experience in financial analysis and accounting management.
Proficiency in Xero and MYOB software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Knowledge on relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements for Australia.
