JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Prepares vouchers and checks for scholars, other operating and administrative expenses.
2. Update entries in the manual books of accounts (General Ledger, Journal Voucher, Cash Receipts Journal and Disbursement Journal)
3. In charge of monthly remittance of government dues.
4. Prepares monthly reports
5. Performs monthly bank reconciliation
6. Prepares annual SEC and BIR requirements
7. Prepares schedules of all accounts needed for the audit
8. Prepares annual DSWD report
9. Prepares PCNC / DSWD requirements for renewal of membership
10. Assist in the counting of collected donations from donation boxes
11. Assist in the compliance of permits and licenses with the admin staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Professional course certification: CPA;
· At least two (2) years of experience in accounting work (NGO work experience is an advantage);
· Knowledge on the MYOB Accounting Software is an advantage;
· Familiar with regulatory compliances;
· Knowledge in bookkeeping and accounting procedures;
· Adept at using MS WORD and MS EXCEL;
· Strong work ethics and ability to manage confidential information;
· A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
· Excellent written and oral English communication skills;
· Can work effectively with minimum supervision and consistently meet deadlines;
