As an Accountant (with Crypto background), you will be responsible for accounting, analyzing, and auditing large volume of transaction resulting from crypto trading. You will be responsible in producing timely financial reports relating to all digital assets.
In this role, you will:
Perform accounting for cryptocurrency transactions from multiple platforms including but not limited to Coinbase, Gemini, Kraken, Binance, etc.
Implement industry-specific technologies to improve the efficiency of data collection
Counsel Senior Management on best practices in cryptocurrency accounting and standard business procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
Prepare monthly financial statements on cash, accrual or GAAP basis relating to all digital assets
Present financials and KPIs to Senior Management during monthly financial reviews
We're looking for talents with the following qualifications
5+ years' experience including at least 2 years' experience with the complexities of cryptocurrency accounting. 4-year degree from an accredited university in an accounting or finance field.
Strong MS Excel and data analysis skills.
Ability to build repeatable processes to summarize high volumes of data from multiple sources.
Able to break down business problems and apply appropriate technology solutions to improve efficiencies.
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills. Attention to detail is a must!
