POSITION OVERVIEW
The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and managing various financial documents, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions, and providing valuable insights to support our client's decision-making processes. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and improving current accounting practicesWHAT WILL YOU DO?
Manage all accounting transactions such as, but not limited to preparation of financial statements, accounts payable and receivable, basic job cost, account analysis and reconciliation, year-end audit.
Oversee full-cycle accounting, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including preparation and submission of tax returns and documentation.
Manage inventory records, ensuring accurate tracking and valuation of inventory.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Collaborate with both external and internal personnel to execute functions, and liaise with banks for payroll account openings, updates, and transactions.
Process and manage payroll.
Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in financial processes, then design and execute improvements.
WHAT SHOULD YOU HAVE?
Bachelor's degree in accountancy or any equivalent degree.
CPA license is a plus
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proficient in accounting software or tools like SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
