WHAT IS A/AN ACCOUNTANT Our awesome client, a leading company based in Australia is looking for a/an Accountant to be part of their accounting team. WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES This role,reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant and assisting the property arm of the business, willprovide bookkeeping, financial, administrative and clerical services to ensure effective, efficient and accurate data entry and processing across SPG. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR The role is responsible for:- Daily bank account reconciliations (including posting of bank journals) Daily receipting of tenant payments Accounts payable support and backup Raising adhoc and internal charges/ invoices Assistance with weekly cashflow (processing transfers) Credit card uploads Purchase order housekeeping/ maintenance Assistance with fixed asset register maintenance Assisting with collation of year- end audit queries documentation Assistance with month end reconciliations and ad hoc tasks as necessary following professional skills and personal characteristics: Accountant or experienced bookkeeper with 4+ years' experience Experience in the use of large ERP system (Yardi would be ideal but not necessary) Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products Strong attention to detail and ability to self-assess Strong desire to manage and organise your time and tasks efficiently Have down to earth, adaptable, can-do attitude Be an independent, proactive personality - you enjoy taking ownership of your role and contributing to the long-term growth of the business in which you work. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Willing to Work on site in BGC Day shift 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Mondays-Fridays
