We are looking for an accountant to provide excellent services to our new Australian client.
General:

Responsibilities:
Prepare clients' Financial Statements
Assess financial statements for issues in the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
Understanding of the effects of accounting on the Balance Sheet
Verifying Financial Statements, Ledgers and Accounts and making corrections where appropriate
Managing the entire client GL, resolving discrepancies
Bookkeeping: Prepare or review Clients' bookkeeping.
Record transactions, improve rules within software such as Xero & Dext to automate the recording of recurring transactions, reconcile accounts, run reports.
Analyze client s' files; find and fix client bookkeeping errors
Payroll: Understanding of Payroll systems
Ability to troubleshoot errors in Xero Payroll highly preferred.
Preparation of Income Tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, and Companies
Financial Reporting
Budgeting and Forecasting
Analysis
Reconciliations
Providing accounting services to all areas of the client business as necessary;
Importing data from Excel, and other software exports, into Xero and other reporting software.
Ability to determine issues with raw Excel data to be imported, and fix issues in the data to ensure correct import preferred.
Transferring data between accounting software and analysis software platforms that are already linked via API (Application Programming Interface), and troubleshoot errors
Document management: Request, receive and organize client documentation. Read and understand a wide variety of documents and know where to file them.
Setup and register new business entities within our software, e.g.
Register a new Company
Register a Business Name/Trading Name
Maintain and update our clients' information, e.g. addresses, shareholdings, etc. in government registers
Taxation Office (ATO)
Australian Government Regulators, e.g.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related course
At least 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience is required for this position
Must have extensive experience in Xero accounting software
Additional experience with Dext, MYOB, and other accounting software preferred like Payroll systems
Experience in a BPO setting or handling multiple clients is an advantage
Must have excellent English communication skills
Must be willing to work on an AUS shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL)
Must have a stable internet connection for a Work form Home set up
