JOB SUMMARY
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for a variety of highly sensitive and confidential accounts payable duties including processing of payables and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, monthly accruals, and invoice coding. The candidate will play a key role in the implementation of a new Accounts Payable automation software project with NetSuite Concur. The candidate should be highly skilled and able to work both independently and collaboratively while prioritizing a diverse workload.
Assist with implementation of new Accounts Payable automation software project - NetSuite Concur
Ensure data integrity and process controls across business units
Process vendor invoices, including coding to appropriate projects and general ledger accounts and making payments on a timely basis
Maintain vendor records and perform annual 1099 reporting
Reconcile G/L accounts on a monthly basis and assist with the monthly close process
Prepare auditor requested reconciliations and provide supporting documents for year-end financial statement audit
Other responsibilities, as assigned by senior management
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related field, preferred
At least 3 years in an Accounts Payable Specialist in a medium to large company
Private equity experience or experience with multiple tax ID's numbers a plus
Experience in handling sensitive/confidential information
Experience in implementing AP automation software and process controls preferred
Prior experience with NetSuite Concur highly preferred
Must be customer service oriented
Solid verbal and written communication skills
