Be proficient and knowledgeable in all areas of payables processing
Maintain an above-average level of accuracy
Possess interpersonal, bookkeeping, and problem-solving skills
Able to work within accounting spreadsheets
Maintain organizational confidentiality
Proficient with basic math skills
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED
Two or more years of experience with accounts payable
OTHER SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Previous experience with PeopleSoft accounting and reporting system is a plus
Should have basic knowledge of general ledger (debit and credit) accounting
Ability to identify and research discrepancies of invoices in a timely manner
