The Role
As an Account Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the investment funds of assigned personal accounts, with added emphasis on accounts under the Directed Investment Management Account (DIMA) arrangement. You will contribute to the volume and revenue growth targets of assigned accounts through contributions made to and the trust fee earnings of assigned accounts, incremental business from existing accounts and new accounts opened.
How you'll contribute
Services all requirements of accounts to include but not limited to servicing and funding withdrawals, queries related to investments and/or the account/covering trust agreement and submits reports as may be requested by clients; also responsible in encoding all daily investment transactions in the Trust system.
Arranges investment of funds and the disposition of investments on a timely basis based on clients' express instructions regarding the purchase of fixed income and equity investments to achieve clients' return objectives.
Coordinates with internal units and external units, when necessary, to ensure the proper administration and management of clients' trust and managed accounts.
Works closely with Sales officers and associates in promptly executing all client orders and addressing all related queries.
Assists the Project Team Head and/or the Business Analyst in conducting the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the new Trust System or any enhancement projects in the Trust System and/or such other platform or IT programs used by Trust.
Assists the Department/Division Head in addressing queries, taking appropriate actions and/or submitting documentary requirements in compliance with internal and external auditors in their regular conduct of audit examination of the Division.
What we're looking for
Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking
Must have at least 4 years of relevant experience
With Trust Institute Foundation of the Philippines (TIFP) certification
With knowledge of personal trust products, with added emphasis on DIMAs
With working proficiency in MS Excel/Powerpoint/Word and other proprietary software (i.e. Bloomberg)
Able to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders as part of the account management effort.
Able to manage client requests and multi-task when necessary
