Job Description
Manage accounting operations (AP, AR, payroll, general ledger) and prepare financial statements.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis; monitor performance vs. budget.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, VAT, and IFRS/GAAP; coordinate audits and filings.
Oversee vendor payments, customer invoicing, collections, and improve payment cycles.
Implement financial policies, internal controls, and risk mitigation strategies.
Supervise and mentor the accounting team; collaborate with Procurement, HR, and Operations to align financial goals.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 7 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must have at least a College Level education.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; certifications like CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CA are preferred.
7-10 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
Preferably experienced in construction, manufacturing, or service industries.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, compliance, IFRS, GAAP, and local regulations.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Tally, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
