Job Description - Designs, develops, documents the technical standards for the Access Network.
- Develop and maintain Access Network architecture diagrams.
- Development test plans and supporting documentation of all Access Network configuration upgrades, additions or revisions.
- Drive Access Network engineering projects by participating in the planning of network architecture, design.
- Effectively coordinate team-work activities, organizing and running effective meetings.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal business partners.
- Execute handoff plan and knowledge transfer to Implementation Teams.
- Helps plan projects or subtasks. Including planning required outside of the immediate or assigned tasks.
- Identify improvement opportunities in organizational process or technical environment.
- Identify opportunities to increase Access Network reliability and reduce costs.
- Familiar mainly on the access equipment, but should also has knowledge on core, transport and OSP (access FOC and distribution).
- Knowledge in access network equipment, performance and network reliability both in Architectural and Logical.
- Knowledge in network performance tools and provide assessment and audit.
- Monitor network performance by providing weekly regional network performance based on the established KPIs
- Provide inputs, explanation, engineering solution and resolutions and strategies to solve network performance issues and concerns
- Maintain and Health check the capacity and utilization of capacity of wireline network and optimization.
- Monitor and manage healthy network performance.
- Coordinate and collaborate with vendor/s and internal customers and stakeholders.
- Handle complaints from internal and external clients.
- Support the engineering design, solution and implementation to deliver target.
- Demonstrate understanding of network performance, capacity, its health, utilization and optimization.
- Displays management skills in collaboration with internal clients and stakeholders to come up with better solution and resolution for a better regional network performance.
- Deliver committed number of lines for FTTH and site upgrades on time per rollout requirement to support the group/division targeted forecasts.
- Deliver sound assessment and audit and solution and resolution for a better Wireline network performance
