Project Brief
We have been hired to provide 3 models to a client. Each model has two floor configurations, four
ceiling height options and nine cladding options. The internals remain the same, so each of the
options must be modelled independently. These options will be configured internally, so we'll need
them provided back to us as individual meshes.
We will provide the base model for each project, along with a brief on the configurations that need
to be modelled. PDF plans will be provided in conjunction for reference, as well as an example of a
similar project we did for the client.
Key Responsibilities:
Create 3D Graphic/ Architectural Designs using computer software programs
Understanding the project requirements and conceptualizing creative ideas
Meeting with clients, Designers, and Directors to discuss and review projects and deadlines
Requirements
Skills & Experience:
At least 3 years 3D Graphic Artist/3D Architectural Designer
Proficient in 3D modeling suite
software of choice, though 3ds Max is preferred
Excellent Communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts, Visual Communication, or any related field
A good eye for design
Photo and video editing skills
Expertise in the following software: AutoCAD, 3ds Max projects, any software related to Architectural design
Ability to sketch or make original digital assets
While texture creation won't be required, it is important to understand the texture creation process (utilizing a PBR workflow)
Understanding of parametric modeling is preferred, but not essential
Must be able to read architectural plans
Must had a strong understanding of UV mapping principles
