RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs 2D Echocardiogram procedure.
2. Operates the console providing guidance to improve the quality of the images
3. Obtains and records medical history from the patient that is related to or may affect the procedure
4. Explains the procedure to the patient
5. Give the images an initial interpretation to detect any abnormalities, and transform them into photographs or video for further examination by the Cardiologist
6. Maintains an ordered filing and retrieval system and / or electronic computer database of patients' recordings, measurements, reports, and attendance details and helping to provide the necessary statistical returns of activity
7. Prints out a report of all completed procedures for interpretation by the Cardiologist
8. Constantly monitor patients comfort and safety during the procedure
9. Inspects and maintains equipment at the unit to ensure machine will work properly
10. Responsible in releasing the results on time
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of any 4 year medical relate course
With valid 2D Echo training certificate
Preferably with at least 1 year relevant experience
Detail-oriented
Computer literate
