We are seeking 2 x Xamarin Team Leaders or Senior Developers to devise, develop and deliver ground breaking platform developments to stretch our competitive advantage and deliver world class customer service.
The successful candidate will have an eye for detail as you will be taking designs and recreating them faithfully in-app. Further opportunities will include other areas of the application (service layer, persistence layer, custom renderers etc) as well as set up CI/CD so this is an excellent opportunity to be involved in every aspect of a modern cross-platform mobile application.

Description of Role
You will be the driving force behind major platform development initiatives.
You will initially be working on UI pages using XAML / MVVM and databinding so a familiarity with declaring UI using XAML, XML or HTML, along with experience using MVVM, MVP or MVC is necessary.
Initial focus to prove your credentials by optimising the current system, refactoring, re writing and tidying up the codebase.
Maintain and extend existing features and collaborate with the rest of the development team to spec, design and build new features end-to-end.
Contribute to setting direction of migrating the platform over to new technologies, to extend our technology lead.
Develop the platform to support international expansion – working around multi-currency, time zone and geo-location.
You will have an appreciation of and a passion for the latest technologies.
Laser focus on quality - from infrastructure, to code, to user experience.
Work closely with users, delighting them with support, researching new features and soliciting feedback.
Contribute opinions on a range of topics, from development practices to product strategy and roadmap.

Duties and Responsibilities

Write well-structured, testable code, with a focus on simplicity and maintainability.

Comfortable with both frontend and backend development

Enthusiasm for working directly with users to build and deliver the right features.

Skills / Attributes Required - ESSENTIAL
Excellent spoken and written English. TOEIC score of 900 +
Excellent Maths capabilities. Registration Test score 90%+ in less than 10 minutes.
Bachelor’s degree in app design and development, Computer Science or similar.
7+ years software development experience within a recognised world-class international, software development team.
Extensive experience using MVVM, MVP or MVC.
