QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree of relevant course with Certification in Occupational Safety and Health is preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of HSE related experience.
Knowledge of rules and regulations of Bureau of Working Conditions, under Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) of the Republic of the Philippines and other applicable cross country jurisdictional legislation, regulations, and standards with regards to occupational safety and health standards
Subject matter expert in safety and health programs
Ability to work effectively with a team locally and from across region to attain a shared goal and able to support lead and line manager on tasks in accordance with workplace safety programs and audits
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including telephone conversations as well as face to face interactions with all levels of the organization
Experience working in manufacturing, construction, and facility maintenance and management is preferred.
Working knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with a sense of urgency.
