What are we looking for:
We are looking to hire a skilled Wordpress Developer to design and implement attractive and functional pages and websites. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development in three interconnected development projects:
The implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates.
The maintenance and improvement of a Portal application written in Laravel, which integrates with the Wordpress website.
Updates to a mobile application, written using Apache Cordova and implementing a single page website for content management and display.
To be a successful Full Stack Developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of back-end programming languages, plus a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills. Ultimately, a top-class developer can create attractive, user-friendly systems that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications of the client.
This role is 100% remote work.
In this role you will:
Designing and managing the website back-end including database, application and server integration.
Develop new features per design, requirements documents and development guidelines
Conducts website performance tests.
Monitoring web applications to make sure they are online, working correctly, and loading quickly. They respond to error codes and troubleshoot problems.
Work with the management to conceptualize ideas to help bring the company's vision into reality.
Document your work, present code reviews and suggest areas of improvements
About You:
At least 4 years of experience as Web Developer focused on Wordpress development Strong understanding of PHP or any similar back-end development language
Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
Experience deploying and managing sites on AWS, using Lightsail
Experience with version control systems, specifically git.
Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
Organized and methodological developer who writes clear and easy to understand code
English fluency (speaking and writing)
Experience in developing and integrating with APIs
