Position Description: The Senior Windows Systems Administrator is a technical expert in the support, design, configuration, and change of systems supporting the Industrial Control Systems and their integration into the overall local network - called Position Description: The Senior Windows Systems Administrator is a technical expert in the support, design, configuration, and change of systems supporting the Industrial Control Systems and their integration into the overall local network - called the Process Control Domain (PCD). The Sr. Windows Admin provides Windows system administration, network domain administration, system integration, security and operational IT hardware support to the assets supported by our Gulf Of Mexico (GOM) team for systems within the Process Control Domain (PCD) onshore and offshore assets. This role is focused on the configuration and maintenance of security controls that safeguard the process control layer from outsider access. The role will also support PCD project activities with operational support activities based on demand. This role is based in New Orleans, Lousiana. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Operate the security controls focusing on patching, anti-virus, backup & restore, and asset inventory controls . Provide IT support through server system administration, workstation support, network support, and break/fix . Maintain asset inventory and logical network drawings, documenting systems, network traffic, and data interfaces . Develop, maintain and execute any site-specific procedures required to maintain security compliance . Have an overview of security measures implemented and document non-compliance to information security requirements . Perform site visits to production units for remediation activities and to assure controls and procedures in place . Provide afterhours support on an on-call basis . Execute day-to-day information security tasks related to infrastructure in PCD . Monitor servers, networks and communication equipment using implemented tools, systems and applications (SolarWinds, Splunk, etc) . Maintain and backup system configuration for servers and network equipment and ensure backups are stored securely . Review security logs and provide reports for identifying potential intrusion, and escalate incidents as necessary, ensuring incidents are properly investigated, remediated, reviewed and closed . Implement change management procedures and testing procedures for network and endpoint security and ensure endorsement from business . Patch and update network device firmware . Act as a senior project resource for PCD projects/discretionary work . Provide subject matter expertise on PCD cyber security, network, and PCD system design to projects including architecture, risk assessment, and implementation phases . Provide system integration and security support for projects executed by the customer engineering projects organization, including providing FAT, SAT and commissioning support . For a senior resource - Design, implement, and review firewall rules in line with customer's cyber security best practices. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Minimum of 5 years windows system administration and network experience . 3 years implementing and managing IT security within Industrial Control Systems - Operations Technology (OT). . Recognized certifications or equivalent experience preferred: Operating System (Windows MCSA), Network (CCNA), Cyber Security: SSCP or GISCP certifications or equivalent . Skilled level proficiency in the areas of Active Directory, Windows Operating Systems, and Server and PC maintenance. . Strong technical skills and experience in systems administration (Wintel, Linux) and network device configuration (switch, router, firewall) . A strong understanding of international industrial cyber security standards and ecosystem. . Offsite and offshore travel required. . Must be able to pass HUET training and keep certification current . Must be able to obtain and keep TWIC certification current . Must have a driver's license and be able to travel to offshore sites frequently (6-7 times per year). . Must comply with customers' HSSE Rules . Excellent Communication Skills . Cyber Security skills including risk assessment . Minimum Education or Certification: 4-year Degree related to IT or relevant experience .
