Qualifications
With high school diploma
With SMAW certification
Basic knowledge of repairing motorcycle components
Has knowledge of basic welding and metal terminology
Has Knowledge of welding safety procedures and requirements
At least one year welding experience in auto parts or similar field
Knowledgeable with mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
Detail-oriented and a performer individual who can meet deadlines
Responsibilities
Responsible for major motorcycle repairs like welding and fabrication of parts
Conduct assessments to determine appropriate welding methods and equipment.
Responsible for cutting, and permanently joining metal parts together
Repair structures by dismantling, reshaping, and reassembling metal components using cutting torches and
handtools
Monitor work equipment to ensure usage is within optimum temperature to avoid overheating or expansion
Assist the mechanic for any additional repairs needed
