DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Knowledge in welding techniques
2. Analyzes and follows sketches and specifications
3. Lays out, positions, and secures parts according to specifications
4. Fitting and welding of steel, aluminum, and stainless parts.
5. Inspects equipment and structure
6. Follows and maintains knowledge of safety protocol
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
• Understand and apply welding techniques
• Operates welding equipment with skills
• Visualize what the finished product should look like
• Work quickly and skillfully with the hands
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents
• Ability to carry out physically demanding skills
• Excellent time management skills including punctuality
• Accurate and precise attention to detail
• Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels
