Job Summary:
 
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Welder Fitter to install, assemble, and maintain underground fuel tanks and piping systems for gasoline stations. The role involves welding metal components, fabricating pipe systems, and ensuring all work meets environmental and safety regulations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Install and fit underground fuel storage tanks, pipelines, and related components at gasoline stations.
Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, or Arc welding (as required) to join tank and piping components.
Fabricate and assemble steel components according to blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
Conduct pressure testing and leak testing of tanks and pipelines to ensure safety and compliance.
Read and interpret plans, schematics, and welding symbols.
Operate power tools, cutting torches, grinders, and welding equipment.
Follow procedures for safe tank entry and confined space work.
Maintain work logs, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
Work collaboratively with civil engineers, safety officers, and project managers.
Adhere strictly to environmental, fire, and safety regulations and company protocols.
