WEBOPS AND QA ASSOCIATE
Responsibilities:
Support the quality, maintenance and operation of a portfolio of 30+ home websites
Conduct QA testing on new sites, enhancements and features based on provided user stories
Setup and maintain Pantheon environments, WP instances and DNS records
Optimize site performance and update site themes and plugins
Publish site code and content from development and testing to production environments
Setup, monitor and report on site uptime and page speed
Audit and improve site hygiene with use of tools like Google Page Speed Insights and MainWP
Ensure all site documentation is update to date on the team wiki
Complete cross-browser and cross-device responsive testing for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android browsers using tools like Browserstack or similar alternatives
Requirements:
3+ years of work experience and solid exposure to web ops and quality assurance
Be able to work with a remote team alongside scrum master, product owner and front and back end web developers
Effectively communicate via email and project management tools, like Asana
Ability to review website changes comparing them against original designs and stories and identify and document discrepancies
Ability to manage multiple work-streams and simultaneous projects in support of a growing portfolio of more than 30 sites
Loving coming up with new ways and automated processes to do routine tasks more quickly in the future
Familiar with agile methodologies and ability to dovetail into team working in a 2 week sprint cadence
Basic understanding of HTML / CSS / Javascript / PHP in a Wordpress environment
Good English communication skills
