WEB QA

Level: Junior (Less than 1 year)
 
Responsibilities:
In order to perform the role of QA, you will need to be trained; and as part of your QA training, you will learn how to perform certain tasks by taking part in QA processes, reading and analysis of requirements, writing and implementation of test plans/cases, testing of websites/web applications
Bug reporting if you find any issues in a website and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner
Ensuring the overall quality of the sites delivered, functional and non-functional testing
Data collection and collaboration, working closely with developers and designers
Writing, reviewing, and updating document procedures to enable faster troubleshooting and resolution
Continuous improvement. Identify opportunities for website improvement and add suggestions to improve functionality and/performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related courses
Applicants must be fresh graduates or with less than a year experience in IT industry
Technical understanding of web development lifecycle
Attentive to details, keen and meticulous
Ability to work independently as well as with a team and able to communicate effectively with other members of the web development team such as developers, designers, project managers and/or digital marketers
Passion for quality. Ensuring that the website meets the highest standards of quality and usability.
Must be adaptable, flexible and possess a sense of urgency
Good command of the English language (spoken and written)
Amenable to work 9AM - 6PM, Mon - Fri; Onsite
A plus, but not required:
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS
Familiar with WordPress and/or Shopify and other CMS platforms
Familiar with SEO
Familiar with Web Design best practices especially for mobile-responsive web designs
