The successful candidate will work in a QA Role to assess software quality through manual, automated and regression testing, and will be responsible for identifying test cases, finding bugs and issues as well as tracking and reporting on progress during issue resolution. You should have previous experience of working in a team-based web application testing environment, to bring projects to a successful conclusion in collaborative fashion within a SCRUM-based agile DevOps environment. You should be able to demonstrate a passion for ensuring high quality software in collaboration with other people within agreed timeframes. As a professional QA tester, you should have a keen eye for detail and be able to demonstrate a methodical and structured approach to test construction and execution, as well as excellent communication skills. Responsibilities: You will work with local and remote colleagues in a multi-disciplinary team to Assist in planning and designing test plans and test cases based on system specifications. Report bugs and errors to development teams as well as customer teams. Work with customer teams as well as developer teams to understand and analyse test results. Work with development teams to solve problems and ensure high quality in delivered software solutions. Create and manage logs to document testing phases and defects. Help troubleshoot issues. Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing and analysis. Write technical documentation. Provide clear and concise daily progress updates to other team members. Requirements: We are looking for a web application QA Tester with 2 3 years experience. Ideally you would be familiar with Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM and cloud-based DevOps as well as Proven experience as a web application QA tester in a project-team environment Experience creating QA test plans using Microsoft Excel or other similar technologies Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team and collaborating with developers Experience in UI/UX testing Excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as attention to detail Relevant educational or professional qualification
