Job Description
Reports analysts acquire, organize, and examine data using a variety of techniques to derive knowledge that can be applied to mold the course of businesses. Reporting analysts are employed by a variety of organizations, including start-ups, hospitals, and educational institutions.
Qualifications
- Proficient in MS Office applications, with advanced MS Excel skills
- Analytical, data driven.
- Skilled in extraction of data from multiple sources
- Creative at building reports to visualize data in story telling fashion.
- Can ramp up quickly and is familiar with call center reporting and metrics
- Ability to decipher trends in data.
- Ability to catch data discrepancies and highlight.
- Ability to view data and highlight changes that indicate movement in metrics
- Plus: Is familiar with database query languages (SQL), reporting from Amazon, Aspect WFM, MicroStrategy and similar BI tools
