Job Description
JOB SUMMARY :
The Feeds Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising the Receiving, Storage and Dispatch of Finished Goods ensuring that standards on accuracy, efficiency, cleanliness and orderliness are met at all times. The Feeds Warehouse Supervisor also manages the accurate and timely system receiving and inventory of identified Macro and Micro Raw Materials, Packaging Materials and account of Production Material Usage thru Run Ticket Issuances. He/she is also responsible in coordinating to Production the consolidated order requirements to ensure that Finished Goods are available at all times.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Finished Goods Consolidation and Prioritization * Promptly and accurately requests for Production the consolidated Finished Goods orders to Feed Mill Department
Coordinates with Production Department any changes and adjustments in the Customer's requirement to ensure that accurate Finished Goods variant and quantity are produced.
Recommends Sequence of production and priorities for a more efficient Production Output and Dispatch Operations
Ensures that all Macro & Micro Materials and Packaging Materials are accurately received in the system and Production
Material usages are system issued accordingly.
Finished Goods Warehousing Management * Monitors the receipt and delivery of finished goods ensuring that there is zero variance in all finished goods inventory.
Coordinates with QA Department on the quality status of finished goods ensuring that proper action is performed on non-conforming products.
Implements SOP of pallet management as defined in the Warehouse and Distribution procedures.
Coordinates with contractors on loading manpower requirements, schedules and equipment requirements of loading operations.
Safekeeping of finished products, cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouses are maintained at all times.
Dispatch of Finished Goods * Supervises and controls the loading operation of Finished Goods to container vans, vessel and trucks, ensuring safe handling of products, accuracy of quantity and brand loaded and timeliness of loading.
Monitors and controls the movement of finished goods documentation; all transactions are properly documented.
Coordinates with Warehouse Manager and Customer Service and Logistics for the scheduling of shipments.
Performs the duties of Checker or Inventory Analyst if the need arises.
Provides supervision and technical expertise on warehousing support activities.
Prepares inventory and loading operations' standard reports.
General Tasks * Performs jobs other than the current assignment under the following situations:
When the employee assigned to do the task in question is on leave.
When the employee assigned to do the task in question is out of the work area due to other assignments such as official business trips, field work, special projects, attending seminars or trainings.
When the employee assigned to do the task in question is assigned to do jobs of higher priority.
2.Complies any or all of the following as may be assigned or required:
Be a core group member in any of the company's Integrated Programs
Be a member of QIT within the department and may be requested to be a member in a cross-functional project team.
3. Actively participates in company programs and during meetings and discussions and come up with suggestions for improvement in the areas of quality, efficiency, productivity, security and safety, sanitation and food safety, environment, waste reduction, sustainability, social responsibility and risk management.
4. Takes an active role in the implementation and maintenance of systems such as ISO and 5S/GMP/HACCP.
5. Performs other related tasks as may be directed by the Immediate Team Leader or Department Head.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
College Graduate preferably of Industrial Engineering background
EXPERIENCE
At least 3 years in warehousing operations and supervisory functions
COMPETENCIES
I. Knowledge
Knowledge of basic mathematics.
Knowledge of office and administrative practices related to warehousing.
II. Skills
Ability to lead, motivate, train and teach people.
Ability to establish good working relationships and rapport with other people.
Computer literacy in data processing and company-required softwares.
Capability of handling confidential matters.
Ability to effectively communicate well with other people (both written and verbal)
Skill in record keeping.
