Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The warehouse staff is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of prepared items for dispatch, freezer out, and Raw material for fabrication and production.
The warehouse staff is also responsible for receiving items for production, fabrication, and blast freezer. Ensuring that all received items are correct in terms of the item description and quantity.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Freezer out
Prepares items for dispatch based on the prepared items list with respect to the FIFO method (First In-First Out).
Ensures the accuracy of the freezer out items with regards to the Item Code, Item Description, Production Date, Customer, and quantity.
Reviews and validates and confirms prepared freezer out items based on the prepared item list ensuring that there is no variance.
Reports any variance and discrepancy to his TL.
Items Receiving
Receives items from fabrication and records them in the Warehouse Receiving Report (WRR).
Ensures the correctness and accuracy of all received items.
Arranges and stacks the crates in the fabrication staging area per item and per customer.
Transfer the pallets and crates from the Fabrication staging area to its designated pallet position inside the cold storage warehouse.
Places pallet tagging and records it in the put-away forms.
Reports any variance and discrepancy to his TL.
Warehouse Cleanliness and 5'S
Performs and lives by the principles of 5'S.
Ensures and maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and facilities. Ensure the compliance of GMP and HACCP.
Qualifications
Education:
College Level
Any course
Experience:
With cold storage working experience
Familiarity with frozen meat cuts
Has a good memory
Good communication skills
Understands basic warehousing methodology
Other Requirements:
Computer literate
Must be verse with MS Office
