WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST
 
Responsible for monitoring the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory items. This role ensures accurate tracking and documentation of all incoming and outgoing materials and maintains an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Monitor and document all incoming and outgoing inventory.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and locations.
Receiving and Shipping:
Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange deliveries.
Organizational Duties:
Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas for optimal efficiency.
Ensure proper labeling and storage of all items.
Implement safety and cleanliness protocols within the warehouse.
Communication:
Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory needs are met.
Report any issues related to inventory levels or discrepancies to management.
Equipment Operation:
Operate warehouse equipment if, when or as needed.
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
Ability to lift heavy items and operate warehouse machinery safely.
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced but small warehouse environment.
May require lifting and moving heavy items.
Must adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
