Responsibilities:
1. Inventory and Stock Management:
- Prepare purchase orders based on inventory needs and requisitions.
- Receive, store, and issue goods, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate stock replenishment as required.
- Maintain accurate stock records using manual or computerized systems.
- Prepare regular inventories to track stock availability and identify discrepancies.
- Find sources of supply, obtain quotes from suppliers, and negotiate pricing.
- Price incoming goods, estimate requisition costs, and assess the value of stock.
2. Warehouse Operations:
- Coordinate purchasing, warehousing, and inventory functions.
- Train and brief new employees on warehouse and company asset policies.
- Train and educate employees on the proper usage of company assets.
- Organize and monitor all rented pest control devices.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on pest control devices.
- Assemble rat trap devices and ensure their proper functioning.
- Maintain and monitor all company assets, ensuring their proper condition.
- Conduct other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
3. Distribution and Logistics:
- Coordinate the distribution of supplies from stock to field personnel.
- Assist in coordinating delivery schedules and optimize logistics operations.
- Collaborate with the Operations or Field Service team to ensure timely supply of inventory and equipment.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock movements, purchases, and other warehouse-related documentation.
- Generate reports on stock levels, consumption, and inventory performance as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain management is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or related fields.
- Familiarity with purchasing processes and supplier management.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and stock control.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and MS Office applications.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks (if applicable).
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehousing and chemical handling.
- Prior experience working with a pest control company is a must.
