WAREHOUSE CHECKER
 
WORK EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years working experience as a checker
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:
Candidate must be at least college graduate/college level
COMPENTENCY PROFILE:
Knowledgeable in receipt, inspection, storage, and management of goods in the warehouse.
Good listening skill
Excellent writing skills as a way to relay information that needs to be done in writing
Able to communicate with customers, procurement and sales department, and also the management of the organization on any needed discussion or reporting.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Check, processes, and clears customers order for shipments
Keeps the warehouse and its environment clean to ensure safety
Operates, cleans, and maintains all the equipment used in the warehouse
Sorts, arranges, and labels all the goods on behalf of the organization
Wears safety gears needed in the warehouse
Prepares all orders by the customers and plant requests for shipment or for transfer to the plant use.
Receive returns from warehouse
Monitor all the container and 3rd party trucking incoming goods of the company
Collaborates with the QA and production sales of the organization to ensure the delivery of the goods.
Keeps inventory or record of the movement of goods in and out of the organization
Could also offer valuable advice to the management of the organization on goods procurement and marketing strategies if need be
Monitor and lead or instruct the warehouseman, loader and forklift operator
Accountable for the warehouse and conduct inventory
Accountable for pallets inventory, usage and storage
Perform other duties that may be assigned by the management.
