Job Description
F&B Waitresses warmly welcome guests as they arrive, escort them to their tables, and provide menus.
They take guests' orders, answer questions about the menu, make recommendations, and ensure that any dietary restrictions or special requests are communicated accurately to the kitchen.
F&B Waitresses serve dishes and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring that they are presented in an appealing and professional manner.
F&B Waitresses may be responsible for presenting and pouring wine, as well as offering suggestions for wine pairings.
They set and arrange tables with appropriate utensils, glassware, and tableware according to the hotel's standards.
After guests have finished their meals, F&B Waitresses clear tables efficiently, ensuring that the dining area remains tidy and ready for the next guests.
They present the bill, process payments accurately, and thank guests for their patronage.
F&B Waitresses may solicit feedback from guests about their dining experience, addressing any concerns or special requests.
They work collaboratively with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and promptly.
F&B Waitresses may be encouraged to upsell by recommending additional menu items, special promotions, or desserts.
They follow food safety and hygiene guidelines, as well as health and safety protocols, to maintain a safe and clean dining environment.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Hospitality/Tourism Management or similar fields.
Female applicants are preferred for this role.
FIVE-STAR hotel experience in a similar role is a must.
Exceptional customer service skills, including a friendly and welcoming demeanor, the ability to anticipate guests' needs, and a commitment to delivering a high level of service.
Verbal communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with guests and conveying menu information, specials, and recommendations.
F&B Waitresses must present a professional appearance and adhere to the hotel's uniform and grooming standards.
A keen eye for detail is crucial for accurately taking orders, setting tables, and ensuring that the dining area is clean and well-maintained.
A basic understanding of the menu items, wine pairings, and cocktail offerings is important to provide informed recommendations to guests.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations is essential in a busy hotel restaurant.
