Job Description
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and thank them as they leave. Escort guests to their tables and present menus. Answer questions about menu items, daily specials, and make recommendations upon request.
Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests. Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure they are prepared to guest specifications. Monitor and ensure timely delivery of orders.
Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently. Check in with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any issues. Clear and reset tables after guests have finished dining.
Inform guests of daily specials and promotions. Suggest additional items and upsell whenever possible.
Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow health and safety regulations.
Work collaboratively with other staff members. Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or similar fields.
