WAITER
 
Duties and Responsibilities
 
Greets and seats customers and present menu
Takes orders and serve food/drinks orders and up-sell any additional products
Make recommendations or share additional information upon request
Provide excellent customer services that promote satisfaction
Arrange table settings and maintain tables clean and tidy
Check products for quality and correct any problems that keep them from enjoying their meal/drink
Deliver checks and collect payments
Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
Ensures the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for guests
Delivers food from the kitchen to the guests
Adhere to relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
Qualifications
Proven work experience as a waiter or waitress
Hands on experience with cash register and any ordering information system
Active listening and effective communication skills
Attentiveness and patience for customers
Basic Math Skills
Excellent presentation skills
Knowledge of food and beverage service
Ability to work well in a team
Problem solving skills
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of wines and pairings is a plus
Adaptability and Flexibility
High school diploma; food safety training will be a plus
Willing to work on a non-fixed schedule
