Qualifications:
At least 2nd Year College
6 Months work experience as a Waiter
Should have excellent customer service skills that includes being attentive, friendly, and responsive to customers' needs, requests and inquiries.
Strong communication skills that can interact with customers and colleagues. Should be able to listen to customer orders, answer questions about the menu, and convey information clearly and politely.
Should have a good understanding of the menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and any other special considerations. They should also be knowledgeable about the different types of beverages served.
Can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as taking orders, delivering food, refilling drinks, and processing payments. Being organized, efficient, and able to prioritize tasks is crucial in providing excellent service.
Must be physically fit, as it involves standing for long hours, carrying trays of food and drinks, and walking between the kitchen and tables. Good physical stamina and endurance are important.
Should pay close attention to detail to accurately take customer orders, ensure the correct food and drinks are served, and handle any special requests. Mistakes can negatively impact the experience, so being attentive and detail-oriented is essential.
Should often work as part of a team, collaborating with other staff members, such as cashiers/receptionists, kitchen personnel, and bartenders, to provide seamless service. The ability to work well with others, communicate effectively, and assist colleagues when needed is important.
Should be able to handle any issues or complaints that arise during the stay of the customers. This requires the ability to think, remain calm under pressure, and find satisfactory solutions to problems.
Familiarity with company procedures, such as cash handling, customer's sensitivity, cleanliness and orderly standards, sensitivity to absenteeism is important. Should understand and adhere to the company policies and protocols.
The resto industry is a fast-paced and unpredictable, with varying levels of customer traffic and occasional schedule changes. Should be flexible, adaptable, and willing to work during peak hours, weekends, and holidays.
Willing to do multitask and can extend working hours if needed.
Willing to undergo a shift schedule.
Willing to handle other works to be assigned by the management.
Willing to work under Agency.
