Additionally modernization of legacy user interfaces into HTML 5 compliant front ends. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Develop new user-facing features . Build reusable code and libraries for future use . Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs with the design teams . Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability . Rapidly prototype concepts as part of a design-led team . Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end . Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders . Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Minimum 3-5 years of experience in UI development for web, mobile or other interactive media . Required Vue JS experience . Experience using Vuetify and bootstrap . Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 . Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks . Solid understanding of JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as VueJS, AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc. . Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX . Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, re, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus . Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them . Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN . Excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong desire to move projects forward and be proactive . Experience designing for accessibility including screen readers . Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, and to accommodate some amount of travel under tight timeframes . Familiarity with Agile and how design engages with Agile development teams Desired qualification: .
