Team and Role Introduction:
We are looking for a high-energy candidate with strong business acumen to support the capability building of Lazada's Commercial Academy for our Account Managers across Southeast Asia. Our Account Manager is to serve the business requirements of our sellers/brands on Lazada. It is critical that the candidate is experienced in transforming business initiatives into training programs and is able to conduct the training itself.The candidate is expected to:
-Design a process that includes assessing learners needs, defining learning objectives, environment, and content, implementing the training, and evaluating the effectiveness.
-Understand complex commercial initiatives and transform them into learning materials
-Create instructional course designs, and produce and develop the training content for the courses both online and offline.
-Maintain current course materials as well as modify and improve them as required.
-Conduct training needs analysis, develop exercises and training scenarios
Responsibilities:
-Determine the training strategy to ensure alignment with Lazada's business strategies across SEA.
-Conduct skills gap analysis amongst our Account Managers across SEA and identify the most appropriate method of training to address these gaps.
-Design detailed training curriculum, including dates, topics, and number of hours required per course by partnering with Business Owners to support key business initiatives.
-Create engaging training course content.
-Deliver training and coaching to new and existing account managers.
-Deliver train-the-trainer to new trainers as needed
-Organize physical and digital resources for account managers and trainers
-Produce training proposals and reports to enable strategic decision-making by the senior management team
Job Requirements
Requirements/Qualifications(must have):
-8 + years of proven experience as a learning and development specialist with commercial experience i.e. transformed business initiatives into learning materials (e-commerce and/or account manager experience preferred)
-A Bachelor Degree, Post Graduate Degree in Business, education, Psychology, or a related field
-Excellent communication and strong report writing capability with a sharp business acumen
-Experience as a classroom instructor is a must.
-Fluent in verbal and written English essential, fluency in another SEA language a plus
