Virtual Assistant / Bookkeeper
What are we looking for:
We are searching for a Virtual Assistant / Bookkeeper who will be working with our AU client. An experienced and strategic financial manager and leader who significantly enhanced the strategic business planning, reporting, budgeting and forecasting process for private businesses.
In this role, you will be focusing on assisting bookkeeping and providing virtual assistance to the client and managing the duties and responsibilities as specified below.
Beyond your experience, we are also looking for someone who is professional and possesses impeccable written and verbal English communication. The ideal candidate should be organized, passionate, and have a keen eye for detail and deadlines.
This role is 100% work from home.
In this role, you will:
Virtual Assistance
Organise meetings, travel and accommodation
Create and Manage Task Lists in dedicated software (eg Monday.com) and assist me in managing priorities
Manage and maintain calendars
Manage and maintain email as directed by myself (Set Rules / Multiple mailboxes)
Manage Social Media Accounts and replies
Complete Word Processing tasks
Arrange payments for vendors, travel and other expenses
Handle confidential employer and client information
Answer and direct phone calls; organize correspondence and answer emails
Create and Manage filing systems, update records and organise documentation
Take notes or transcribe meetings
Research and organise data
Prepare Presentations
Organize communication via emails and phone calls
Customer Invoicing
Bookkeeping responsibilities
Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation
Accounting Data Entry
Simple Payroll Processing (AUD)
Ad-Hoc General Ledger transaction review.
Superannuation processing
For Clients
Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation
Accounting Data Entry
Simple Payroll Processing (AUD)
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Maintaining records of financial transactions by posting and verifying
About You:
Core qualifications:
Knowledge of basic accounting/bookkeeping concepts
Exposure to Australian accounting/ bookkeeping
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong Excel/ Google Sheets skills (Pivot table, Vlookups and other basic formulas)
Excellent Outlook skills
Flexible and adaptable
Great interpersonal skills
Knowledge or experience in Xero /Quickbooks will be a huge advantage
Time management and the ability to meet required deadlines
