Requirements and skills:
Proven work experience as a cameraman
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Ability to work from a standing position for a 2-3-hour period.
Ability to understand and follow camera scripts.
Must be eager for unique camera shots.
Ability to multi-task and work in a high pressure fast paced environment, usually with tight and changing deadlines.
Must be available to work all shifts, including early mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
A team player.
Attention to detail.
Dedication, patience, and stamina are needed.
Physical strength to carry heavy equipment and stamina.
High school diploma
Responsibilities:
Work with directors to determine all aspects of shots.
Provide practical and creative input to scene planning.
Select, assemble, and position equipment (cameras, stands, software etc.)
Prepare cameras and test angles or camera movements.
Shoot scenes according to requirements.
Capture quality footage from a fixed or moving position.
Collaborate with makeup artists, lighting, and sound staff to produce the best final effect.
Resolve technical or practical issues.
Edit footage as needed.
