VIDEO EDITOR
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Arts or Graphics & Media
At least 1 year of experience in video editing and content creation
Experience in operating a camera is an advantage
Proficienct in Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe Photoshop
Basic skills in motion graphics
Strong listening, negotiation, and communication skills
Creative and attentive to details
Responsibilities
Edit raw video footage and audio clips into a coherent, engaging, and polished final product
Assist the videographer during shoot
Brainstorm concepts and ideas for video and photography with the creative team
Plan the shoot with the creative team and creative director
Prepares background film or "b" rolls needed for the video editing
Select music in-line with the video and edit accordingly
Insert close captioning, graphic, or other on-screen text in the video if needed
Adding basic motion graphics and special effects to a video when needed
Complies with brand standards outlined in the departmental handbook, and as set by the Creative Director
