Position Title: Video Editor

Schedule : 10:00 PM TO 7:00 AM PH Time
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with our CEO and content team to create compelling video updates that align with the brand's vision and tone
Edit raw footage into polished, professional, and engaging video content with a newsroom-style approach
Ensure that the final videos adhere to the highest standards of English language, grammar, and storytelling
Implement video editing techniques to enhance visual storytelling, maintain audience interest, and elevate the overall quality of content
Utilize creative and technical skills to add graphics, animation, effects, and other elements that enhance the video's impact.
Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a keen attention to detail
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, editing software, and advancements to continuously improve video quality and techniques
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in professional video editing, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality video content
Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing newsroom-style video editing and storytelling skills
Excellent command of the English language, with a sharp eye for grammar, punctuation, and style
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools
Familiarity with motion graphics, visual effects, and animation tools is a plus
A deep understanding of video formats, codecs, and best practices for online content distribution
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, take constructive feedback, and adapt quickly to changing requirements
Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure timely delivery of video updates
A passion for news, current events, and storytelling, with a desire to create impactful content
