MedSpecialized, Inc. is looking for Video Editors!
General Description: The Video Editor prepares concepts and scripts for multimedia pieces, researches and develops story ideas and prepares final story proposals for approval. The Video Editor is expected to create training, animation, and marketing/event videos, depending on the need of the project.
Work Arrangement: Office-based Setup
Office Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu
Responsibilities:
Listens to feedback and adjusts the video draft to the requirements of the client
Ensures that the final cut aligns with the requirements and is delivered on time
Taps on their creativity to effectively tell a visual story that engages the audience
Researches what styles and trends work in the industry and applies them accordingly
Produce training materials for medical softwares from the company, with the use of Adobe Captivate (Software training will be given upon nesting period with Team)
Skill Requirements:
At least 6 months relevant work experience
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, Mainly: Premiere Pro, After Effects & Photoshop.
Proficiency in mixing and editing audio tracks and effects
Able to create storyboards based on scripts, does the sequencing, and create animations if needed
Other Requirements:
College grads preferred but college level or undergrads are accepted as well.
Fresh grads are welcome to apply!
Must have a portfolio
Drive to learn advanced techniques from superiors or tutorials
Attention to detail and a knack for visual storytelling
Collaborates with other content creators in the Production team to understand the audience, story, message, call to action, and the desired viewer response
Willing to learn workflows, executions and standards set by the team and department
Willing to accept responsibilities within the scope of knowledge and to learn more
Know how to interpret specific detailed instructions
Openness to learning new editing techniques
Resides in or is willing to relocate to Cebu City
Salary and monetary benefits (in PHP):
Monthly salary of 18,000 - 20,000
New hire bonus of 5,000
