Job Description:
Video Editing and Recording:
Assemble raw footage and other media assets to create a coherent and visually appealing video.
Trim and edit video segments to achieve the desired length and flow.
Add and synchronize audio, including sound effects, music, and voiceovers.
Apply transitions, text overlays, and visual effects to enhance the overall quality of the video.
Color correction and grading to ensure consistent and appealing visuals.
Operate video cameras, drones, and other equipment to capture high-quality video footage.
Set up and adjust camera settings, including exposure, focus, and composition, to achieve the desired shot.
Media Management:
Organize and manage large volumes of media files, ensuring a systematic and efficient workflow.
Maintain backups and archive project files for future reference.
Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand the project's vision and goals.
Incorporate feedback and revisions to meet project requirements and client expectations.
Work with directors and clients to contribute creative ideas for video content.
Understand and interpret creative concepts and turn them into visual content.
Software Proficiency:
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
Familiarity with other software for audio editing, motion graphics, and visual effects (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
Technical Skills:
Understanding of video codecs, formats, and export settings to ensure optimal video quality for various platforms.
Ability to work with different types of cameras and file formats.
Creativity:
Use creativity and artistic judgment to make editing decisions that enhance storytelling and engage the audience.
Keep up with industry trends and innovative editing techniques.
Time Management:
Meet project deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Work efficiently to produce high-quality videos within given timeframes.
Problem-Solving:
Address technical and creative challenges that may arise during the editing process.
Find solutions to optimize video quality and storytelling.
Communication:
Effectively communicate with team members and clients to understand project requirements and deliver on expectations.
Maintain open and effective communication with the production team to ensure a smooth workflow.
Discuss and implement changes or adjustments as needed based on feedback.
Quality Control:
Review final edits to ensure they meet quality standards and are free of errors or glitches.
Adaptability:
Be adaptable and open to learning new editing techniques, software, and technologies as the industry evolves.
Be adaptable to different shooting conditions and environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
Attention to Detail:
Pay close attention to small details like continuity, audio levels, and color consistency.
Lighting and Audio:
Set up and position lighting equipment to achieve the desired ambiance and eliminate shadows.
Capture clear and high-quality audio using microphones and other audio equipment.
Monitor and adjust audio levels during recording to ensure proper sound quality.
Camera Equipment Maintenance:
Regularly maintain and clean cameras, lenses, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs when necessary.
Pre-production and Planning:
Collaborate with directors, producers, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
Plan and scout locations, select appropriate camera equipment, and determine shot compositions.
Shooting Techniques:
Employ various shooting techniques, such as handheld, steadicam, or tripod shots, to achieve different visual effects.
Use camera movements, framing, and angles creatively to enhance storytelling.
Post-production Assistance:
Occasionally assist with video editing, including transferring footage, organizing files, and providing input on the editing process.
Technical Skills:
Stay up-to-date with the latest camera technology, accessories, and video recording techniques.
Proficiency in operating a range of cameras, lenses, and related equipment.
Safety:
Follow safety protocols, especially when working in challenging or hazardous environments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least High School Graduate
Proficient in using Adobe Premiere or any similar apps.
Willing to be trained
With flexible time
Strong storytelling skills and a good sense of timing and pacing.
Previous experience in video editing, often demonstrated through a portfolio of past work is a PLUS(Optional).
