Roles and Responsibilities
The Video Editor & Content Creator is expected to edit interview and Vlog style videos. The professional will be working closely with the Brand Director and Marketing Manager of the company where all content is shot.
The Video Editor & Content Creator must be proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro, must have the ability to tell visual stories that command attention and compel action, and must have a solid understanding of modern video editing for online formats. He is expected to re-edit and re-format videos to be used across different platforms.
Required Experience
- At least 3 years of video editing experience
A Successful Candidate must have
- Ability to tell visual stories through creative video editing
- Ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems
- Ability to research YouTube and suggest future content for us to create
- Ability to problem-solve, but not averse to asking questions to ensure the best result is delivered in the quickest possible time
- Knowledge in sound engineering & sound design
- Knowledge of YouTube & understanding of what content performs on the platform
- High levels of integrity, autonomy and self-motivation
- Independent and autonomous.
- Excellent English communication skills (written)
- Excellent colour correction skills
Proficient with
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
Experience Advantage
- Graphic design skills an advantage
Required Portfolio Samples
- 3 samples of your latest videos created over 5 minutes long (start to finish)
- 3 samples of the recent social media video post you have edited and created published in an active account that has gone viral
- Links of 3 Youtube Channels you subscribe to
