Job Overview: The Video Content Coordinator would work alongside the Content Manager and Editorial Director to monitor, schedule, and optimize each video posted on the YouTube channels and report on platform trends and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate daily video posting on YouTube channels by viewing submissions from creators and providing feedback on long-form and short-form video content. Coordinate new video deliverables and oversee content calendar on Airtable. Write and optimize video titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and additional YouTube creative tools (chapters, end cards, playlists, A/B testing, etc.) Monitor each viewer comment, approve allowed comments, engage with the audience (thumbs up comments, reply to questions, etc.) Monitor performance of published content; execute updates and changes when needed to optimize existing content. Execute ongoing content optimization efforts for library video assets. Report YouTube channel data to maximize video views and watch-time, increase subscribers and user engagement on the platform. Coordinate and gather data, including SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and keyword strategy for all published content and development of new content. Build and oversee video content section on WordPress blog. Monitor and report on YouTube-wide platform trends and best practices. Qualifications: 2-3 years YouTube Studio, with operations and analytics experience Clear written communication skills Digital media experience preferred (photo, video, audio knowledge a plus) Basic SEO knowledge Able to manage detail-oriented projects in a fast-paced creative environment Adaptable to new processes and open to feedback Must have excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Able to work independently while understanding important guidelines, deadlines, and brand sensitivities.
