The VP, Technology, will lead software engineering teams, prioritizing highly scalable SaaS applications while driving rapid innovation in an agile environment. The role will encompass organizing, implementing, and maintaining day-to-day activities for existing product offerings, with a strong emphasis on transparent communication. Collaboration with our Chief Technology Officer is crucial for achieving technical excellence and realizing our vision.
Additionally, the VP, Technology will spearhead strategic customer and technology initiatives in software development. The ideal candidate is dedicated to enhancing the customer experience, expanding user base, and meeting founders' requirements. They should possess a blend of Microsoft Tech Stack expertise and technical proficiency to formulate a strategic roadmap, placing a high priority on operational customer and consumer experience, including security.
Responsibilities
Provide visionary leadership for the product development organization, overseeing software development teams and ensuring the highest standards of technical excellence.
Strategically organize, implement, and manage day-to-day activities to efficiently communicate expectations for current product offerings to customers and employees.
Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities and risks, including competitive services, innovation potential, and technical challenges.
Utilize tools and services to ensure the development teams produce high-quality, secure applications and services.
Create forecasts and metrics for ongoing process and offering improvements.
Lead product planning, task assignment, and deliverable management.
Oversee the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization to launch across all product lines.
Drive innovation through decisive action and thought leadership.
Visit the Philippines to meet the Technology Team multiple times annually.
Requirements
Professional Qualifications;
Senior-level technology leader in a Software Company, adept at managing distributed teams of FTEs and consultants, with a strong inclination toward SaaS and Microsoft Tech Stack environments.
Proven track record of building and overseeing high-performing technology teams.
Extensive experience in mission-critical software development and cloud solutions.
Proficient in Agile and Scrum methodologies, consistently delivering successful outcomes.
Seasoned technologist with a primary focus on customer-centric design, security, and global leadership.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, hyper-scale systems on schedule.
Adaptable and detail-oriented learner with a sharp eye for technology trends.
Strong communication and project management skills, particularly in Agile development.
Collaborative team player with a global perspective on market trends, dedicated to ethical and privacy commitments.
Technical Skills:
10+ years of expertise in web applications for collaboration and content management, with a specialization in Microsoft Tech Stack.
Proven ability to bridge technical and non-technical domains, supported by excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Successfully managed remote vendor development teams.
Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, and MVC
Advanced skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Ajax, Bootstrap, and JQuery.
Proficiency in MS SQL, including T-SQL
Familiarity with other technologies such as XML, JSON, and LINQ.
Experience in 3rd party integration and the development of REST-based APIs.
