VETERINARY ASSISTANT
 
Qualifications:
At least a high school graduate.
Preferably can drive a car; or must have a valid non-professional driver's license and a safe driving record.
Male. If married, we prefer applicants whose family resides in Cebu.
Experience is not necessary. Willing to be trained. Team player. Can perform under pressure.
Applicants must be willing to work in Cebu City, Talisay City, Naga City and Mandaue City.
Responsibilities:
Cleans and prepares the clinic.
Assists vet technicians in collecting samples from patients.
Assist vets and vet technicians in performing surgeries, vaccinations, treatments & physical check-ups.
Performs night shifts & Sunday shifts in monitoring patients.
Assists in inventory management and supports the receiving, checking, and proper organization of clinic stocks.

AVCI strictly follows the labor code of the Philippines.
All AVCI employees are entitled to regular & special holiday pays, overtime pays & 13th month pays. The same are subject to PhilHealth, SSS, HDMF & withholding tax deductions.
Regular AVCI employees are entitled to annual vacation (6 days) & sick leave (6 days) credits.
The regular working schedule at AVCI is Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN and 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. However, veterinary assistants typically begin duty at 8:00 AM and are provided a two-hour lunch break.
Salary:
Applicant becomes a regular employee after the first 6 months of work.
Initial salary for a Veterinary Assistant is P14,100 per month.
Regular employee may be subject to an annual increase based on performance; calculated with initial salary as base pay.
