Our client is a well-experienced entrepreneur, investor, and venture builder in Southeast Asia in the climate tech industry including land, agriculture, transportation, and energy. They are now looking for a passionate and driven Venture Associates to support our team in identifying and evaluating opportunity spaces, validating new venture concepts, and helping our ventures grow.

Although your primary role will be to support Founders and Venture Architects launching new ventures, you will have the opportunity to try a bit of everything from investment analysis, portfolio management, and marketing to recruitment. What you will do:
Work with us to understand stakeholders inside out: a source for potential customers, conduct interviews, record and synthesize insights.
Help us understand new markets and sectors: conduct market research, a source for insights, crunch data, and size opportunities.
Understand climate and carbon impact: identify sources of emissions and reduction potential as well as size initiative impacts.
Design solutions: generate and test ideas, design prototypes/wireframes (bonus).
Connect the dots: manage data, inputs, and derive insights, contribute to internal databases, and prepare reports (as-needed).
Who you are:
5-10 years of relevant experience (remuneration commensurate to experience).
Relevant experience can be in (but not limited to):
Growing an early-stage start-up
Product management
Management consulting
Innovation/design consulting
Venture building
UX design/ human-centered design
Comfort in online collaboration tools; bonus for proficiency in specialty software e.g. Figma.
Bonus for experience in customer development or complex multi-stakeholder engagements.
Your Mindset:

You are comfortable with ambiguity and able to focus on the next steps/actions and prioritize.
