Job Description
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields.
At least 2 years relevant experience, can be a mix of development and User Experience Design.
Knowledgeable in User Experience Design principles.
Experience in conducting research and UX testing.
Ability to translate design artifacts into usable code
Knowledge of industry prototyping tools like Adobe XD, Figma, etc.
Basic knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JS)
Familiarity with version control e.g. git
Knowledgeable and experienced in technical content writing
Experience working in DevOps culture and toolset e.g. CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, pipeline management, and other ancillary tools is a great advantage
Job Descriptions:
Detailed understanding of the systems involved in customer digital life in a telco environment i.e. mobile and web apps for selling and servicing, and integration
Strong problem-solving and collaboration with business/system analysts and the DevOps team
Strong analytical skills with a focus on the business value of IT; the ability to balance the value of user needs and business goals
Strong presentation and communication skills (to both technical and non-technical audiences, written and verbal)
Competent project management skills, i.e. waterfall and agile methodology, and know-how of when to apply them
Flexible in learning new technical skills and ability to cope with new technology trends (e.g. chatbot, etc)
Self-management and strong organizational skills
Evaluate user requirements in collaboration with the stakeholders, product owners, software engineers, and quality engineers
Translate high-level objectives from both users and business into polished visual design
Participate in user research activities and user experience testing
Employ design principles to develop prototype and user flows
Design/develop user experience with interface design mock-ups that are intuitive enables recognition, reduce cognitive load, and are culturally appropriate
Contribute to the ideation and concept development of visual design concepts
Be an advocate for interaction design best practices with a focus on consistency and usability
Work with the DevOps team and product management/business partners to plan User Experience efforts on improvements
