Context:
Under the overall supervision of Head of Satellite Office and direct supervision of the Finance and Administrative Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the premises, assets, and equipment for the Satellite Office in Marawi City, Philippines in line with IOM policies, standards, and commitments.
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
Perform cleaning duties for the office premises on a daily basis and respond to requests for emergency cleaning.
Maintain office premises and equipment in good and clean condition at all times.
Report any malfunctions / defects on assets and equipment for repair and/or any loss of property to the Head of Satellite Office and Finance and Administrative Assistant.
Assist with set-up of office furniture and equipment arrangements for regular or special activities.
Conduct preparation, serving and clean-up of refreshments for official meeting and visitors.
Run office errands, including support in transmitting documents to other IOM units and other UN and government partners.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited academic institution; or
Completed High School degree from an accredited academic institution with relevant work experience.
Experience
Work experience with International Organizations or projects in the same capacity is advantageous.
Skills
Interpersonal skills/relations.
Organized and with good discipline on timeliness.
Languages
English and French are the working languages of the UN Secretariat. For this position, fluency in English and Filipino is required. Working knowledge of Meranaw/Bisaya/Maguindanaon is desirable.
