Job Description
The Utilities Manager will implement the Engineering and Technical Services strategy (aligned to 1FG and BU strategy) through the implementation, evaluation and improvement of utilities management best practices.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering courses
Experience:
Five years of engineering management in a food manufacturing environment
Five years experience as a Process Engineer or Continuous Improvement Engineer
Experience in working with external stakeholders
Experience in leading and managing Utilities Improvement projects (current and new/emerging technologies)
Experience in Capital Expenditure projects advantageous
Experience in the use and application of change management methodologies would advantageous
Licenses:
Licensed Engineer; Registered Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical (Process) Engineer or Professional Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical (Process) Engineer
Other Requirements:
Excellent communication and coaching skills
Detail oriented and organized
Proficient computer skills in spreadsheets; databases and word processing
Excellent technical knowledge of equipment, products and processes
Self motivated, results orientated and excellent personal skills
Strong knowledge in process improvement/optimisation
Strong background in HAACP; safety; GMP; and AIB
Must have a hands-on work ethic
Bilingual preferred
Willingness to relocate, if required
