Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare income tax, use tax, income tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports.
Prepare income tax returns for corporations form 1120, individuals form 1040, partnerships form 1065, nonprofits form 990, estates and trust form 1041.
Manage and maintain the client's tax database.
Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.
Determine tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits.
Ensure you comply with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities.
Offer support and guidance during audits.
Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden.
Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes.
Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.
Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant or an Enrolled Agent preferred
US State tax preparation experience is a MUST
US Income Tax and Use Tax experience is a must
Well versed in Corp tax software is preferred
Trainable with good work history
Knowledge in preparing income tax returns for corporations, individuals, partnerships and trust
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge with accounting/tax system like Lacerte, QuickBooks, XERO, MYOB, NetSuite, SAP and others
System requirements:
Computer Processor: At least i5, 5th generation for both primary and back up computers
Computer Memory/RAM: At least 8.00 GB for both primary and back up computers
Computer OS: Windows 10
2 monitors' required
Internet speed must be running on a 20+ Mbps wired plan (at least 5 Mbps for back up connection)
